We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer / Design Lead who thrives in a hands-on, strategic role and enjoys shaping mature, user-centric digital experiences. You will work closely with a product team in Gothenburg and collaborate daily with cross-functional stakeholders to elevate UX across a customer support platform.

About the role

You will work broadly across interaction design, visual design and UX research, while driving UX strategy and mentoring designers. The assignment includes leading UX activities end-to-end and partnering with a Service Design Lead to develop concepts and prototypes. You will play a key role in raising the UX maturity of digital platforms and ensuring cohesive experiences across devices and touchpoints.

Your responsibilities

Lead and orchestrate UX activities across the full design process Work closely with product managers, product owners, developers and other stakeholders Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Translate user needs into wireframes and prototypes of varying fidelity Plan and conduct user interviews, usability testing and workshops Monitor and improve usability performance across digital platforms Design experiences for multiple devices and environments Contribute to agile ways of working within fast-paced, iterative development cycles Provide leadership, coaching and skills development for team members

Who you are

An accomplished designer with a strong passion for user-centric problem-solving Skilled at driving business value through design and collaborating across disciplines Comfortable taking a lead role in concept creation with a Service Design Lead Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design or similar 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design with experience leading design teams Strong understanding of user-centered design principles Experience working in agile product teams and with developers Proficiency in Figma, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite English required; Swedish is a plus
